Like so many great things, the story of ZOE BLAIS Superior Anti Aging Skin Care starts right at home. ZOE BLAIS Founder and CEO Debbie Burgin learned about the value of classic, uncomplicated skin care ingredients from her mother at a very young age. "My mom has amazing skin. She's 73 years old, and most people guess her to be somewhere in her 40's, with the exception of the fact that she STILL has absolutely no wrinkles. She's always told me that, 'the way to younger looking and feeling skin is a damn good moisturizer.'"

At 40 years of age, people were still mistaking the ZOE BLAIS creator for one of her children's siblings. "I started really listening to my mom's skin care advice when I was in my 20's. She was totally into making skin care products with only the purest of natural ingredients, so I started with a good cleanser and an excellent moisturizer (made by mom, of course) at the "ripe old age" of 24. People tell me that I don't look like I've aged since then. I'm in my 40's now, and people still guess me to be somewhere in my mid twenties."

Debbie watched as her mother made her own lotions, creams and soaps. "Honestly, I'd have to tell you that I thought my mom was a little eccentric making her own skin care products." Having had eczema on and off since I was a baby, I was concerned about what I was putting on my skin. That's where the skin care creation 'bug' began."

When Debbie started her own family, she concerned herself with the eczema that plagued her son as an infant. "The thought of putting the traditional prescription, chemical filled, steroid cream treatments on my baby literally made me sick. I couldn't do it. Then my mom suggested that I try a recipe for one of the creams that she'd used on my eczema as a child. It had no chemicals or harsh ingredients, and it worked wonders. I made my son his own jar of cream that we called 'Carter's Eczema Cream'. His eczema cleared up, and it's never come back."

Motivated by a passion for products formulated with as few chemical ingredients as possible, Debbie resolved to create skin care products made from only the best natural ingredients. "I'm a moisturizer freak. I love serums in particular. I totally believe that the earlier you start using a GOOD skin care program, INCLUDING an excellent moisturizer, the better your chances of slowing the hands of time to a crawl." Experimenting in her kitchen and applying the same rules for perfection that made her sons eczema cream so amazing, she created the perfect skin cream. After about 18 months of testing, Debbie started giving her creams, serums and toners to friends as gifts. Naturally, they were a hit.
